with these standout 2017 rookies, well, you tend to make special concessions on the trading card side.
Sometimes, you make completely new products.
That’s exactly what Panini America officials will do in late January with 2017-18 Panini Chronicles, a unique creation
made specifically to showcase the spectacular 2017 NBA Draft class and featuring some key Rookie Cards
from popular Panini America products of the past.
Think 2017 Panini Chronicles Baseball, but tailored to the hardwood. 2017-18 Panini Chronicles,
for example, will be the only place all season to find 2017-18 Rookie Cards from Titanium, Momentum,
Pinnacle, Gold Standard, Gala, Marquee, Brilliance and more.
Set to arrive in hobby shops across North America on January 17, each hobby box of 2017-18 Panini Chronicles
(15 cards per pack, three packs per box, 10 boxes per case) will deliver, on average, three autograph
or memorabilia cards, nine Rookie Cards and nine inserts or parallels.
Relying on the belief that there can't be too much of a good thing, 2017-18 Panini Chronicles
goes all-in on the 2017 NBA Draft class.
In doing so, the new set features multiple Panini brands under one roof.
Debuting on the court, the Chronicles line initially began with the 2017 Baseball.

The highlights of 2017-18 Panini Chronicles are many and include . . .

- Look for autograph/memorabilia combo cards of the top draft picks in Chronicles Signature Swatches.
- Look for the basketball debut of Majestic Rookie Cards.
2017-18 Panini Chronicles Base Rookies
Combining a large selection of brands, the 2017-18 Panini Chronicles checklist includes base rookies for Gala, Gold Standard,
Limited, Majestic, Marquee, Momentum, Pinnacle, and Titanium.
According to Panini, this is the only place to find rookie cards from these brands for the '17-18 season.
2017-18 Panini Chronicles Autographs / Relics
Split between autographs and relics, the 2017-18 Panini Chronicles hits come three to a box.
The Chronicles Autograph and Chronicles Swatches inserts both display considerable text about the player.
In addition, the signed cards have Pink (#/25), Gold (#/10) and Gold Holo (1/1) parallels.
Rookies are also featured as the first-year players get the call in Chronicles Signature Swatches.

The Basics : This will be the only place to land Rookie Cards from Brilliance, Majestic,

Every box will include nine RCs and nine parallels apparently three per pack
with a hit and Chronicles base cards.
The hits will be Chronicles autos, signature swatches and swatches. These will have veterans as well as rookies
and the autographs will have parallels that include Pink (/25), Gold (/10) and Gold Holo (1/1).
What’s buzz-worthy : Panini offers a look at the newest crop of NBA rookies on a number of designs/brands
from the recent past and present all in one place.
The 15-card packs carry a suggested retail price of $50 ($150 per box).
