Big designs meet Refractor-like finishes in 2015-16 Select .
The set has assumed the role as a souped-up Prizm product and promises three hits per hobby box.
The 100-card base set is broken into three different subsets, each with a different design and rarity.
Concourse is the most common at three per pack, and the more limited versions include Premier Level (10 per box) and Courtside (1:6 packs).
As a new addition to the release, 20 cards in the Courtside set feature subjects with rookie teams and photography.
Parallels remain a calling card of Select and each hobby box delivers 12 total parallels with three being numbered to 249 or less.
Options include Black Prizms, Green Prizms and Tie-Dye Prizms (#/25), in addition to others.
Showcasing on-card autographs, Signatures and Rookie Signatures are the main signed choices
for collectors in 2015-16 Panini Select .
There are also limited relics to be found, including Sparks Gold Prizms.
even the most fervent loyalists of Panini America’s Optichrome technology or the Select brand
in general would have been hard-pressed to predict the rocket-ship ascension enjoyed by last season’s 2014-15 Select .
For any number of reasons, last year’s release took collectors by surprise and the industry
by storm as one of the most successful launches of the season.
Bolstered by that backstory and by similar content attributes, the highly anticipated 2015-16 Select will arrive
in hobby shops across North America in early March. Once again this season,
Select will be all about that base (set), about that base (set), with three unique chases :
Concourse (three per pack), Premier Level (10 per box)
and the short-printed Courtside (two per box).

Panini America‘s Optichrome technology comes to the forefront once again with the upcoming release of 2015-16 Select
and collectors may be impressed with the shining cards coming out of packs once it is released in early March.
With three autograph or memorabilia hits per box, each pack also should contain
one limited Prizm parallel card and a short printed base card.
Throw in a large tiered set and this release could prove to have something for everyone.

Base Set :
Like last season, 2015-16 Panini Select Basketball has a large 300-card set and it is once again split into three distinct designs.
The most common to find are Concourse at three per pack, followed by Premier Level, which come 10 per box.
Courtside is much scarcer as each card comes once in every six packs.
These cards have a new feature this year as 20 of the veteran performers will be shown
in action from their rookie seasons.
Each card will have several Prizm parallels that will be numbered to 249 or less. In addition to Green and Black color shifts,
Tie-Dye (/25) returns for another season after a solid debut last year.
Autographs and Memorabilia :
According to early literature provided by the manufacturer, 2015-16 Select will have on-card autographs
from close to 100 NBA rookie and veteran players.
Select Signatures and Select Rookie Signatures share a similar clean design
while Sparks Autographs & Memorabilia have a distinct look to go along with prime swatches.
Each box of 2015-16 Select will deliver three autograph or memorabilia cards
and at least 12 Prizm parallels (three of which will be numbered to 249 or less).
